This Weaver/Picatinny rail for the Remington 700 rifle series is made from weather-resistant coated T6 aluminium. This scope mount utilises the mounting points for Remington scope rings to allow the Weaver / Picatinny rail to be mounted on the rifle.

To determine whether your rifle has a short system, you need to measure the distance between the centre of the rear scope ring slot at the top of the receiver and the centre of the front scope ring slot. The short system is 6.57 inches (167 mm) long and has a hole spacing of 92 mm. If you measure a larger value, you will need the long system accordingly.
